Meh, everything's pretty gutted and empty out here. Denver is on it's shit. New Orleans left everything to rot. Hospitals, schools, churches, everything still in them. It was run like a third world country. Denver tears down and rebuilds so quickly. I know of a handful of nice locations in rural CO, but it's more fun to go with people.

Wasn't always like this. Pretty much entire golden triangle was abandoned when I was in HS (one house I explored there in the late-90s/early-00's had rooms insulated with newspapers from the 1930s sporting ads for Daniels & Fischer), as was much of the northside (now erroneously called Highlands after a town that was nowhere near the Highlands neighborhood, but rather where the Jefferson Park neighborhood is today). Even downtown; I remember an abandoned commercial greenhouse just down the street from Jesus Saves we went to for years. Denver's hot with renewal right now, locations these days don't last long and are usually pretty sketch for the short periods they are vacant.
AFAIK, none of my friends who are into urbex participate in this forum, but If'n we organize an excursion, I'll shoot ya a PM.
