By the time I found out about this school, I was reading local news stories about its impending demolition and thought it was too late to see it. At the tail end of Christmas break, while visiting family in Vermont, I convinced my father to make the drive to Massachusetts with me and check it out. Luckily, only brush had been cleared, and the buildings still stood ready to be explored. I would guess that whichever company is responsible for demo is waiting for the snow to melt before beginning work.
I know that this is a very well-known location, and the facility is very well documented online. Still, despite the vandalism and stripped-out nature of the buildings, I very much enjoyed my time here. Maybe it was just the vastness of the complex, or the feel of the place; the endless graffiti and taggage almost gives it a life of its own. I must say, I am a fan, and am very glad to have gone before it gets bulldozed.
A few of these photos uploaded fuzzily (that's what I get for using Microsoft Paint to re-size them), but enjoy!

My father and I made a return trip in February to check out some of the buildings we had no time to see on the first visit. The snow made walking around tough, but it was still a fun trip. Pics:
