So I'll be trekking out that way this summer, and I know there are some pretty cool locations around the area. To those of you familiar with the area, I would like to know, is there anything good in the downtown area, or would I have to look more outside of there for some exploring?
I'm not asking for locations, per se, but I was debating spending some extra cash to ship my bike out with me. If I have to go further out from the city, it'll be no big deal with it, but also more reason to take it along.
Also, if anyone is interested, I'd love to meet up for some shoots. I always love hearing advice and perspective from other photographers.

There use to be tons of cool sites out here. But the economical jumpstart recently has led to the bulldozing of a good bit of them. A few months back, A beautiful old house near Catfish Run in South Park was bulldozed, there was one bulldozed right down the street here too. But theres still a few left. I'd start with the Carrie Furnaces down by the waterfront.
