This is basically what's been keeping me away from urbex or anything of that sort lately - it's the cockpit set for our fan film that we've scheduled to shoot this fall titled Star Wars: The Recompense (visit us on facebook https://www.facebook.com/TheRecompense) The film takes place in between A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back, and follows bounty hunter Jahdo Kyn as he seeks his latest target. We've got some seriously awesome cast and crew on this project, and it's basically a childhood dream come true. These images are actually pretty old, and we've done a lot more detail/finishing work since, but you get the general look and feel. We're going with a lot of practical, hands-on effects in lieu of CGI, so our actors have a lot more to interact with. On this set alone, our wee three-man crew has wired up about 300+ switches, lights, and monitor screens, as well as designing the set to have pullaway segments for easier filming.
