Northern Colorado Flooding

In September 2013 Northern Colorado experienced severe flooding which caused millions of dollars of damage. These photos were taken about four days after the water subsided.

I would really appreciate if you could give me feedback on which photos you like better between 1 versus 2 and 3 versus 4.

1.

2.

3.

4.

5.

The culvert was completely full with trees, branches, and boulders up to about 1.5 feet in diameter. The water level rose and started undermining the road and soon after collapsing it.

6.

The road was completely gone for several hundred feet beyond this before the canyon widened enough to let the water slow down.

7.

8.

9.

10.

11.

We found these dogs hanging around in the pile of rubble. We ended up taking them to the local animal shelter.

Exactly what was that supposed to mean, Crashplan?
Why would it not be OK to post this?

Just that this site revolves around urban exploration. While I think it's really cool, it is just a torn up road out in the middle of nowhere. I wouldn't necessarily designate paved road with urban.

I guess my question is asking is rural exploration acceptable here?

I like 1 better than 2, and 4 better than 3. Hopefully those little furbies were reunited with their person!

You are welcome. Your photos are great, man. It's like a mini-documentary.

As long as youre not posting weird shit that defies common sense laws, then who really cares what you post??

Example: Don't go rafting down the flood waters of New Orleans right after Hurricane Katrina looking to snap pictures of flooded homes (unless you are a journalist) That's just weird.

I was in Colorado this spring and as we were driving to Rocky Mountain National Park we could see the effects of the flood. Tons of houses were trashed by the flood. It made for a very interesting drive.

#3; it's abstract and it implies the other pictures. (I like "found" abstracts.)
