"Two adults were asleep in the home when the fire started. They awoke to sounds of the fire and smoke alarms and were able to escape the home, along with their dog, without injury, he said.

The fire spread throughout the basement of the home, forcing crews to attack the blaze from the outside, Burningham said.

Burningham estimated damage at $300,000. The inside of the home was gutted by the fire, he said, but the outside didn't sustain too much damage."--ksl.com

The fire occurred in 2012.

Interesting images. I always feel for those who go through a house fire, especially being awakened by one. Like a scene from hell itself!

it looks like it was once a beautiful home! there is an abandoned home about a half hour from Draper. Going to check it out again tomorrow.

I drove by it a week or two ago and it was torn down. Bummer
