| | | Toronto has some absolutely beautiful old buildings mixed in with all the modern scrapers. The building I have had my eye on for a long long time was built in 1930 and was the tallest building in Toronto until 1962. Incredibly opulent inside with tons of intricate details, I have always loved walking through to look at the beautiful ceilings. The one spot I have always wanted most though remained closed and inaccessible until now! The observation deck was closed to the public over fears of liability. Seeing that a window of opportunity had come up, I took a chance and went for a visit and the view was more than worth it!
