I suppose it doesn't reflect well on me that when I read about some of the bodies being found in abandonments, the next thing I did was to come here and check the forums...

I explored in Gary a few years ago. Thankfully I must have skipped the houses that had the bodies in them.

Seen a few people hit the Gary houses in recent years... I've never bothered with them because there are just too many and none that interesting.
I was in town yesterday and the newschoppers and vans were out in full-force, but no cops were at any of the major spots in downtown except for the pile of rubble that was the Sheraton (they had cadaver dogs sniffing the debris). They swept through about 90 homes yesterday... got a long way to go.

I found a recently-deceased individual in an alley behind Shea's in Buffalo on Christmas Eve 2000. I posted a detailed account a while ago. You can read it here if you're so inclined.
