When China hosted the olympics, they originally planned to house the athletes in Beijing. The participants refused to stay in the smog and this opulent village's construction was halted, freezing it in an unfinished state.

Thanks to Burbex (http://burbex.wordpress.com/) for showing me around the capital city.

The most complete building was a clubhouse.

All of this kinda pics make me wanna move to one of those mansions and stay there forever. But maybe I'll leave that for the squatters after all
