Posted by Misunderstood I just joined this site a little over a month ago. But, it didn't take me long to fall in love with your photography. You have a magic! Sifted Light is Lovely! Death and Love...Beautiful!

Thanks for making my day; I've been suffering god damned migraine headache since morning and now I try to get rid of it with beer. This is kind of comment that did make this day much better, so thank you very much! ^^
Posted by tiftastic Solid work. Sifted light is stunning...definitely my favorite of the bunch
|
Thanks - it really was nice moment; of course light did move and slowly fade away, but it did last maybe for 10 minutes. Bells were ringing for train pass by... it was Moment.
Posted by crows Gorgeous. I love the shapes you picked out in a lot of these, and the details you chose to focus on. The cemetery is a special gem. I know there are tiny pioneer cemeteries decaying all over my state, I should get out to more of them soon.

I'm quite speechless (and very happy about it), so thank you!
And go to those cemetaries (and remember to sent me message when photos can be seen).
Posted by Jecht "House and Clouds" and "Sifted Light" are both amazing shots!

Thanks. I really did enjoy that House and clouds place (too); it was quite... well, who knows what to see those dark thunder clouds coming behind that forest, then that rain and wait of it ending in that abandoned house... By the way, my car can be spotted from that "Listening rain" photo, there is reason why I did wait.
Posted by msgsudz Sifted Light is gorgeous. as are the shots of the graveyard.

Thank you very much, or should I say: kiitoksia niin perkeleesti! xD
Posted by Cherokee Great stuff. Question– Did you do a Text-rearranging program on those first two gravestones or were they just in some language? Excuse my ignorance.
|
Thanks. First were from my head, second were "short version with my bad english" (text is in finnish). Full version with that second could be something like "here rests hounourable householder..." and then name and time of born and death.
Posted by QuikSink Fantastic work! Clouds Were Gathering has a brilliant atmosphere that really makes that building seem like it is on a journey. I like all the industrial stuff too, awesome composition and colour, Steampunk Castles is wicked, the framing couldn't be better.
|
Thank you very much! And I must say that I really did like how there were that house on the hill, surrounded by "great wide open fields".
And what comes to that "steampunk castle" photo, it was quite surprise; I've been in that same spot before, but I just don't know how I did find that photo now and not then! But it's magic of photographing, light is different and so on... you can find photo from there were there wasn't it before. And it feels always so damned fine!
Posted by Speed Always enjoy your Pictures. Fantastic work as usual. Really liked Listening Rain and Waves. Sadly graveyard photos have never spoken to me. Love the bonus shot! Great work.

Thank you very much! And hey, there ain't right or wrong what comes to like or not like; photo that somebody thinks it is great, is with somebody elses eyes pure shit - and both are right. It's good to remember (and same fits almost anything). People like different things, and it's damned good thing. But on saturday evening I like beer and whiskey and my mouth did get dry while enjoying these comments - thanks for all of them! Next whiskey shot goes for all of you.
