| | | Dougo, Do you know anything about the history of the Russian urban explorers who assisted Moscow police during the hostage crisis at the Dubrovka Theatre in 2002? I remember reading a little blurb about it on the timeline section of Ninjalicious' book, but I don't remember there being much information about the event (and my book isn't available at the moment). Specifically, what I was wondering is: 1. Did they ever get any kind of recognition for their help? 2. Did they continue in the hobby of UE, and did their sharing of information with the police make it more difficult for them to continue their clandestine activities? 3. Did the Moscow cops shake them down, like "if you know THIS, what else do you know?" PS... I LOVE your "when it rains, no drains" story. The one where you ended up being forced to break out through a manhole you had never used before and wound up in the middle of the street with a car coming. Reading it from the comfort of my computer, it sounds like quite a scary (and thrilling) experience. I figured if I ever talked / wrote to you, I would mention it.

| Thank you for taking the time to construct such a well thought out question. I will do my best to break it down and answer what I can. 1. Sadly, even though I'm sure they deserved it, I don't really know as I didn't have cable during that period. 2. I heard that there is only one left who goes by the name Mustang Wanted but that would have made him about 8 years old at the time so that's probably not true. 3. I'm not sure, but from what I've heard the Moscow cops were always fair & legit, but who knows? I hope that helps mate.
