Another place near where I went to school is this old partially-active factory. Apparently they used to make railroad signals. Near the back (West) of the plant is a lot of disused steam equipment that's pretty cool. Entry from the west is kind of tricky because of plants and stuff, but going over the roofs is more fun anyway. There's also some kind of tower in the center of the North side that you can climb and a water that can also be scaled. I don't know what the current state of the place is, but between the two times we were there they installed a new padlock.
We found a handy map while we were in there. Boilers are in building 9, compressors are in building 12, tower is on building 6. IIRC, 7 and 14 were accessible through 9 and were large and empty. 29 had visible activity inside. This place does have some cameras near the loading dock and truck parking.
There's tons to see there and I'm sure I didn't get to all of it. PM me for additional pictures or information.
