looks like they're removing graffiti in anticipation of construction, but there's no actual plans for construction? anyway, beware of increased activity and possibly security.

When Rinzler says "gutted", he means it. All of the inner walls have even been dismantled. There is nothing but a dangerously crumbled cement floor supported by rusted steel girders. That's it.

I'm really glad to hear this.
I never got my chance to explore it (sure, I've seen pictures, but some locations you have to experience for yourself), the one time I tried, they were working on it and gave me a number to call to set up an appointment to look at it (never did).
I've heard people in the area thought it was an eyesore (let's be real, it kinda was, but so was most of the surrounding), and it was always up in the air as to whether they would refurbish it or tear it down. At least the former is good for it.

Here's two minutes of random drone footage of the Divine Lorraine (and a few other Philly abandonments) I found on YouTube. Pretty damn cool.

VERY cool find Ed!!! I've definitely been inside one of those buildings before (I don't want to put it on blast but if you look at my recent post history you'll know what I'm talking about). I hope more people do this, especially in places like Detroit.
