Like I did promise, here comes the Second Part. This time I did get there alone. 130 kilometers per direction - not too bad if you ain't unemployed and moving with 25 years old car like I do. Anyway, I did get on the road bit early (because in my mind mornings are always best time to photograph) so I did arrive there 9 a clock. I must concern if I should try to get there much earlier at next summer... sunrise would be nice to watch from the highest tower.
But god damned it was nice! It was nice even with my un-photographing friend, but I must once again confess that you get so much more from abandoned places when you are there alone. Much more freedom and time to really look and breath that atmosphere in. Other thing that were different to first visit were weather, which were this time really windy. People who doesn't know would think that abandoned factory... what a quiet place of peace. Once again truth were quite different; wind did open and shut doors really aggressive way, wind did bang hanging parts, even birds were jumping on roofs making step kind noises. And still there were that strange peace, which can be found between life and death.
Best moment were near 11 a clock when sunlight did find it's way in - there were dust on air by wind and that made beam-like light. With those moments I really were in fire, if you know what I mean. But like in my life too often, time were again my worst enemy: I did have only 4 hours to spent there, and I did spent most of it inside. It really weren't even nearly enough, but otherwise it leaves very good reason to future trips too.
But after this over-excited shit, here we go...
