Newcastle, Australia On a recent work trip, this is what I found there. Did not have much time for recreation, so these pics from a few different sites rolled into one post. Please enjoy
1,2 - Suburban drain to the North of town. About 2m x 2m.
Long, but not many features:
3,4 - Shepherds Hill Fort (full of rubbish and syringes):
5,6 - The first railway tunnel in Australia. Sealed up in the 40's (believe me, I checked!):
7 - Drain, near the middle of town. About 2.5m high x 3m wide. Long and twisty. Most fun here was had looking through the mountains of debris. A few (small) side pipes, manholes and a short (20m) section in the middle where it is split into two drains:

9 - A typical manhole here, with two square concrete lids:
Location: Here and There NSW Australia Gender: Male

Last time i did Gooliewash I had school kids asking if i had a meth lab down there. Not bad work finding two drains on opposite sides of town, not many in the area worth entering
