i'll give you the emails of four friends that have Kia Optima's and Kia Souls... have fun.
the reason I am looking at the 300 is because my life has become boring. I want something different. I've looked at a dozen Mustang 5.0's and even more Camaro's... every one of them was rotten, or beat to shit or waaaaay overpriced. This is something different, something you don't see every day and something that has somewhat of an aftermarket. It's not the prettiest Z, but maybe that's the attraction... it's a late 80's satin jacket interpretation of what a performance touring car was supposed to be. I've always been partial to Datsuns/Nissans because they always seemed to be the underdog Japanese car company, always coming up 2nd best to fucking Toyota.

You are looking at fox bodies?

How about looking at the SN95's specifically the 94/95 which still had the 5.0?

Not that I am attempting to dissuade you from the Z.
I imagine the Z being more costly, in comparison to the 5.0
I mean as far as parts, etc.

Fox body's are great, every one I've had fell apart over bumps... But I think that's any American car from that era.

done the Fox body (three actually) and enjoyed them immensely.

i have looked at the 94-95 Mustang's, but honestly, they pretty beat up when looking around here. Well, beat up and way overpriced and honestly, after mid-95 when Ford finally went with that unholy abortion of an engine, that's when I stopped being a fan. This may come as a surprise to you guys, but in 94, the redesigned Mustang was released, I was on the mailing list, had a test drive scheduled for me at a local dealer, got a whole PR package from Ford. (the only thing that has survived several moves is the letter from Ford about the car).

i just want something fun again... i fucking miss my Cobalt so damn much it kills me.

Oddly enough, the lowly Taurus like saved American automobile manufacturing. It was a truly modern car.

Agreed! It was Detroit's answer to Japan. The K-Car for all its crappiness, helped.

VW was, IMHO, the only manufacturer who really did '80s design right. I had an '86 Golf, and I loved the way the lines and angles came together like a chisel. The Cadillac Allante I always thought was a beautiful '80s car too. That's about it, though.

There you go, Miata is a good choice. They seem to retain their value very well though.

I have been looking around at SN95's (94/95) a clean mid 100km car goes for $4500CAD give or take. This guy below dropped his price to 4500.
There are many floating around. They are not rusted out either.

Me neither. Most Ford products of that era were fairly offensive looking.

we have a guy that had a cobra convertible that comes into my shop regularly it was a 96? but it was a fun car, but like over 4k and in straight line on a smoother road. Once there was corners, or bumps, it was quite scary and unpredictable, u guess that was also because of the lack of a roof (or structural rigidity ) But he traded it in on a new gt500 with like 700HP. cant wait to drive that one

As I always say, the K-Cars, Taurus, and the W-Bodies worked because it was:
Cheap to Build
Cheap to Own
and Cheap to Repair.
If you build any car like that, you can win over North American car sales.
