And then, the Testarossa when it was still badass.

You mean it was not badass at some point?

Also, you didn't live in the 80s unless you had a Countach poster. (With or without an Alpine decal on the windshield.)

there have been better Ferrari's to come down the pike since the Testy. Also, the Countach in the poster was either black, white or yellow!

I feel horrible saying this, I've driven a Testy. Horrible, fucking horrible car. Can't see anything. Too wide. Too twitchy. Just over all shitty car. You would damn near need to be a professional driver to turn a time on the track with one that the average joe could turn with a Vette, for less than half the cost.

None of those Ferraris had side strakes or that ghetto booty, though. I've driven a few 308s and a 412 and they're pretty wretched to drive as well.

If I had a Ferrari, though- it'd be a 288GTO.

Getting back to car movies...

Thunder Road. That is all.

I've honestly never even seen it. I'm just familiar with the car, having owned 2 daytonas, 2 lebarons, and a spirit for some masochistic reason. I hear the film is rubbish. Maybe it's Charlie Sheen's fault.

It's a silly movie, but I enjoyed it. Mostly for the pile of 80's turbo dodges and concept cars.

There's a classic goof up when a guy is racing a 1st gen Daytona- it clearly shows the automatic shifter, and then it shows him hitting the clutch pedal.
