Oh Look, Another Mill

I borrowed the title from a recent post on the Southeast board by explicitly, where he also said, "Seriously. It's about all we have to explore down here."

So here's yet one more. Built in the mid 1800s, closed in the '70s, and subjected to some serious arson damage a few years ago. Not much left of the main building. Other buildings still have a little bit of equipment here and there.

We might be able to arrange that. This location would be a long ass drive for you, though. 4+ hours one way.

Thanks, y'all. This place kills me. It has the least remaining structures of any mill I've been in, but the most remaining equipment.

Yeah, man, we have LOTS of mills in the Carolinas. Some of them have been re-purposed into office space, condos, and apartments, but a lot of them just sit empty.
