| | My First UrbEx Trip - Brian Center Nursing Care - Lexington, NC *Pic Heavy* < on 1/10/2013 2:54 AM >
| | | This place has changed quite a bit from the gallery photos in the UE DB. I did some research, and the place apparently closed down from mistreatment of the patients. Some were killed and one wandered off into the woods to never be seen again. Some say that this place is haunted... Didn't see any signs of that! xD Please go easy as well, this is my first time attempting to take "real" pictures. Thanks! 1.

| | | I was doing some ~spooky~ self portraits here once, and scared the shit out of a few middle school ghost hunters when I jumped out into the hallway in a black dress with long black hair covering my face. It was quite amusing. If I recall correctly, they also thought a laser pointer was "orbs".
reckless thoughts abide; anachronistic and impulsive. loosely jacketed against the cold and ten thousand worlds for the choosing. |

| | | Heh, I went to this place once. Bit trashed at that time, spotted sketchy people. Not worth it.

To be fair, glowing green orbs that dance and disappear would be spooky. I regret not having video of their reactions.

| | | Necrobump, because after today everyone in NC has officially been to this waste of time. I didn't even realize what it was from the road- I thought I had stumbled upon something good. Then I saw the "Brian Center" on the overgrown sign and thought "Well, shit..."
Unless you have an old mattress fetish, this place is not worth the time it takes to walk around it.
