| | | Rural Urbex: Oxymoron? (Cool house in Belair, MD) < on 11/11/2012 5:41 PM >
| | | Hi all, I'm Amanda - I'm new and I just posted one photo of this on the Rookie board, but thought I'd share with the locals. This is an abandoned private home with a shed (which I did not enter) and it has been completely taken over with ivy, the floor is collapsed, it's great. I've posted some photos of a house in on Belair Rd below. If anyone knows of any other places like this (semi rural places for "urban" exploring - "rurex?" :P), please let me know! Would also love to meet up with some people in the Baltimore area to do any kind of exploring. the outside of the house:
through windows (you can see how close the neighbors are in the first one):
a sinking sink!
my feet on the "floor"
I have some more photos but don't want t flood you with them. Looking forward to meeting some of you, at least online! [last edit 11/11/2012 5:45 PM by check0ut - edited 3 times]

thanks, the house is really easy to get to - right by the the entrance central area of gunpowder on belair. but neighbors' house is really close so i don't want the spot to get too blown up. there's no door on the side of the house or to the basement, so nothing to really break into which is cool

| | | Protip: if you want to prevent locations from getting blown up, it's a good idea to keep the details on it's whereabouts to a minimum. like, "rural maryland" or simply the county it's in. instead of the road it's on or near by land marks.
