| | My Best < on 4/29/2012 5:05 AM >
| | | So I've been looking through all my photos and I think I've found my some of my favorites, and I'm just looking for feedback and criticism on any of them; anything that's good about them, anything I can do to improve, etc... Thanks in advance! P.S. for some reason almost all my photos turn out very grainy looking on UER, even though they look fine on my computer, anyone know why this might be? 1.

| | | 2, 4, and 11 are a little blown out, you can fix that either by cropping it out or using a polarizing filter. Other than that some of these are really great, I like the light pattern in 3. I don't know why your photo's look grainy here, maybe they are more compressed on your computer and when they expand it leaves that grainy look?

| | | I'm digging the shots. The UER photo upload fucks the quality pretty badly, I use an alternate hosting site. Mainly Photobucket. People will complain if I put up my watermarked flickr stuff anyways.

| | | I really like 9, but I think it would be better if you cropped out some of the dark area.

| | | I like them! I agree with cropping some of the black around 9, but without losing too much of the spooky edge. 1 & 3 look almost like they could be paintings you'd find hanging up in an eccentric millionaires home. I think you've got a really good eye, just keeping going with it!

| | | Thanks for all the feedback! I've been a little down on my photography for a while now, so this helped a lot I'm thinking of getting a flickr, just so they don't look this bad.

| | | I find 1 and 9 to be hauntingly surreal, awesome work. For some reason a few of these reminded me of certain shots from Andrei Tarkovsky's movie 'Stalker.' That being said, while the darkness drew me into the picture with #9, the darkness in the right corned of #2 was slightly distracting. However, I think that was largely due to the graininess, and since thats just a product of the UE photo uploader it probably wouldn't distract me on some high quality pics.

Agreed, I just got a new camera, and I'm re-shooting some of the places, just to see how much of a difference it makes. This one is the next up.

Haha i had the same reaction, i got really lucky with that shot. I took it during the late afternoon/early evening. Heres another take of the same place at the same time: http://m.flickr.co...91826422/lightbox/ With the editing and what not i think it turned out a bit better
