I notice this is a very not active community outside the perimeter in Manitoba. Is there no one who does this in the westman region or am I it?

There is, but it seems this time of year is kind of quiet, and very few new sites popping up

It would be nice to meet up with an established member or two and go exploring somewhere one day here soon.

I'm not too sure actually.

You may want to make a meetup with the Winnipegers or PM some people as its annual rite to go exploring in rural Manitoba.

Sorry, I usually group Brandon with the rest of south western Manitoba as the city was usually one stop on a day or weekend road trip.

With that said, have you talked with Sentry?

I've done some limited exploration in rural Manitoba, but usually areas close to Winnipeg.

Btw, Winnipeg is a city of 650,000 or so, and there's only a couple active explorers that post here.

I'm usually more active -- usually with Nootz or with Tbeckerson. You're welsome to come out with me sometime.

I live in the Brandon area too and I am always looking for places to explore...I have been out the province for the past couple months but now I am back. The summer is at our doorstep and I am starting to feel the need again to breathe some nasty asbestos-filled air. I have never explored in a rural area other than a house or two but I am willing to give it a try.
