| | | Ok, we have black Friday and I had nothing better to do besides going into this house I came by a couple of weeks ago. To my luck someone already had kicked in the door. So I used this entrance. Later on I found a basement that has an open to the outside as well. One interesting find is that there were a lot of water barrels as you will see in the pictures later. This time no picture of me, but I was wearing the exact same things as last time, and when I went into the basement I hit my helmet and not my head. I was wearing it for the light I have on it in the first place, but looks like I needed it. Now here is the building, it's in the middle of nowhere with a four way stop street only 50 meters away, so quite a few people should have seen mu car.
This is the backside with the back door and you can see the door to the basement.
When I saw the roof and what war coming down, I thought a mask would be great, as well as mu helmet with the light.
Does anybody knows what kind of insulation they used?
As you see this green insulation is everywhere on the ground, I don't know what it is, but better safe than sorry
I don't know what this in the picture is, but I can find out if you really need to know
Was the only thing that was quite clean and quite still standing
Looks like the last person that was here worked for lays, also in the background you can see these water barrels.
Here is a better picture
It's dated Dec 1998, but the address is not right
More junk and more water barrels
No comment
On my way in I didn't see it, I saw it on my way back to the entrance
Here is a look down the stairs, and yes I hit my helmet when I went down there.
More water barrels, someone was getting ready for something
This basement didn't look better than the rest
This is the outside entrance of the basement
And this looks like my ride, taken from the basement
Inviting, isn't it
Self picture didn't work out
Now that's it for today. I know it isn't this great, but one less building to visit in the South Plains. Let me know what you think, I know you do this anyway.

| | | Wow, the amount of water barrels is pretty interesting. Where they full? That bathroom looks a bit scary. Shame really, looked like it was a nice house at one time.

Actually I didn't check if they were full. I saw some were open, so I assume even if they were full at one time, it should be evaporated by now.

| | | Perhaps the barrels are for catching rain water. It looks like the roof might have a few leaks ;) That rockwool type insolation probably contained asbestos, it was used until the mid-1970s. I'd guess the wooden lattice was used as edging around a flower bed.

Normally people frown upon telling people entry points for locations. For a little house like this not so much but try to keep that in mind for future reference.

| | | Wow...that place has been abandoned a while. Last time it was occupied, Jamie Lee Curtis was still hot.

I didn't give out the entry point at the movie theater but in case someone finds this building, I don't think they have problems finding at least one entry point themselves, so I yeah I gave it away.

Na there was no wrong doing. At a building this small, you will find the entrance in less than a minute. The problem here is to find the building.

Albeit a cool little explore. I have spent literally hours on popular satellite mapping sites trying to find the whereabouts of a location. Sadly,I wouldn't even click on bing/google maps for this one. As far as the showing the POE, it's a stretch to say it even matters in this case. Personally, I'd be more concerned with posting pics of my vehicle.
