| | | eh! My favorite has to be United, although their mean as hell to their retiree's. Second would be DELTA. Yes, Delta. And I agree with Mark, Russian airliners suck. Did you know a Journalist by the name of Robert Young Pelton got on a Commercial Russina Airline Flight, and they couldn't close the Aft door? They sealed it with Gaffers tape until the flight was over. Here's something else, when a Tupelov TU-whatever crashed in '88, killing 326 people, It was blamed on the ground crew that couldn't install the autopilot correctly because the instructions were written in Russian Crylic. 2 years later, a man was ingested through the engine of an airplane, and all the pilot noticed was that the engine temperature shot up a couple degrees, so they took of anyway to stay on time. -SnArF Source: The World's Most Dangerous Places, 1996, Robert Young Pelton

| | | Well, from personal experience. Air Canada is rather high on my "do not fly" list, not so much because of the flights or prices themselves, but their customer service is *HORRIBLE*. I've never encountered as many dolts behind the counter as I have with these clowns. Example...I went to return a ticket *that I bought myself* - they told me that they couldn't refund my ticket because they couldn't prove it was me that bought it, even though I had my reciept with MY name on it. The Supervisor told me that the only way I could get a refund was if I mailed the ticket to their head office along with proof of purchase. Sorry, but I'm not doing that. I eventually bitched enough and got them to cut a cheque for the amount...needless to say, I won't be flying with them again unless I have to. This includes their other lines, Air Ontario, Jazz, and all the other ones. JetsGo is good, from a price standpoint, but I agree with KAOS, they aren't exactly known for superior aircraft. WestJet is probably my favourite. Decent prices, good customer service, they fly where I want to go...so no complaints there. For a flight I wanted to take, Air Canada wanted over 500 bucks for the flight...WestJet wanted 299 for the same trip. Come on. -Ex
