Fedge becomes billionaire; buys Durham Region
By Reggie Pooner, staff reporter
Once recluse Fedge inherited 635 Million Dollars from a distant rich relative AND won 400 Million Dollars from South Dakota's Powerball lottery, he decided to purchase the entire land area of Durham Region and re-name it Fedgetopia.
As noted in the map above, Fedge plans to amalgamate some municipalities.
Fedge will combine Pickering and Ajax into a new Pickerjax. "Ajax used to be part of Pickering", said Fedge. "I'm just putting things back to how they were".
Whitby, Oshawa and Courtice will be lumped together into the new city of Whitshawa Court while Scugog and Clarington will become Claringog.
Both townships of Brock and Uxbridge will have all its residents forcibly moved to the new southern cities and the land will become Fedge's private estates to be known as The Upper Fedgelands. Entry into The Upper Fedgelands will be by permission only and unauthorized access will be dealt with harshly.
Fedge expects all changes to the new Fedgetopia to be completed by 2013.
