|  | | | These pictures are from a factory I went to in September 2009. I walked around the outside and in a garage/storage building. There was a lot of security, so I didn't have the time to take a lot of pictures. When trying to get into one of the main buildings, several police cars pulled up and I had to make a run for it. These are all pictures that I took while exploring with one of my friends.
there was a guy in the dumpster on the right and taking stuff out of it

Ravenswood was owned by Con Ed from the time it was built until 1999, when due to deregulation, Con Ed was forced to sell its in-city generating capacity. KeySpan bought the site for $600 million US dollars. In 2007, KeySpan merged with National Grid. Because of the possibility to influence in-city electrical costs due to National Grid's significant upstate electrical distribution, the New York State Public Service Commission forced National Grid to sell the site. In 2008, TransCanada Corp, based in Calgary, AB, Canada, bought the site for $2.9 billion US dollars.

The other post wanted meetups in both New England and Old England. Why would a cop work over two continents...because the only other explanation is that there's an international plot to destroy urbexing and it's coming at us one username at a time.

OK... I really what you did in 5, deconstructing the reality of the parking garage stairwell. It makes me question the enduring value of mankind's endeavors, and speaks to the ultimately ephemeral nature of paint and even concrete.
I also enjoyed the juxtaposition of 2 and 10, which melted my brain.
