| | | hey, i'm a street artist, lyricist and urban explorer. after 6 years in vancouver, i just moved back to ontario, but between the 6th and 12th or so of march i will be back in van. i'd love it if a few of you urbexers wanted to meet up and explore some spots i might've missed. PM me if you wanna chat and set up a mission or two. and yeah, i've done the train tunnel in burnaby, what?! this is me... http://jermalism.blogspot.com/

| | | I've followed some of your work, seen it in a few out of the way spots. I suspect you've done more 'exploring' in Vancouver than many of us so-called "explorers" who live here. Always have to give credit to the ballsy artists who are busy out there.

| | | Hi Jerm, I have seen a lot of your stuff. As a former resident of the stretch between the toilet bowl to the east Van tunnel (although I prefer to ride through it), and surrounding yards, I have followed your art. I have some pix I could send you of the old BN caboose (long gone) and such. Dumpsters, lots of dumpsters!
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too! |

Old faves in Van-town? I'm surprised if a building stays abandoned (and un-bulldozed) longer than a month. [last edit 2/12/2011 3:24 AM by reduxzero - edited 1 times]

maybe not giants of industry like here in Ontario, but many of my fave spots are still there in van. hella factories in PoCo. one on the Fraser in south van. the towers & tunnels at UBC. the scotia house. the king George house in surrey. and so on, without giving away the real money spots.

| | | damn. Opsal Steel is just a shell, and an active construction site. The South Van factory along The Fraser has been bulldozed. So has almost everything else. bummer, back to Ontario in a few days. somebody holler if they got a spot to share on Thursday before I fly out.

| | | Hey Jerm, did you by chance paint the image of Jack Nicholson from The Shining next to the McDonalds in Coquitlam or know who did? I recently drove by it every day on my way to work and back when I was staying there on a business trip, and couldn't help glancing at it every time.
