07 Mazda 6 liftback (i sport hatch)
2.3L I4
less than 15k miles
Loaded, except for moonroof and leather.
Silver, great condition.

Asking $13987, been on the lot since July.

He's thinking of offering 12,500. I think 12 seems fair?

Thoughts?

He's pretty set on it overall, done the research well enough to know he wants one, and takes good care of his cars. It's really down to how much is it really worth?

He's paying cash too, for what it's worth... been saving his pennies for a while.

Do you think they'd be willing to go as low as like 11,500 for cash?

At auction its a $8000 car and they know it. He could prob get it around $10-11 cash.

agreed.
they are overpricing the car because they probably gave too much on a trade and are trying to make up the difference.
the Mazda 6 is not a bad car at all, but for a newer car there are significant corrosion issues that Mazda did not address.

I would go no higher than $12k. Keep in mind that the car is now 4 years old...
