|  | | | So, I was out visiting a couple friends in Surrey today. I hadn't really been out that way in a long while (5 years), and on my way home I ended up coming past the old Surrey Public Market building on King George Highway and 64 Avenue. I'd tried to explore it with a couple other explorers when I first learned of it (again, 5 years ago), however we were unsuccessful at the time.
I'm wondering if anyone else has had any success exploring it? Pretty sure its still abandoned. I tried to do a Google search and found out that the Salvation Army was attempting to purchase it back in April of this year, but I don't know if that came to fruition or not.
Anyhow, I'd be more than game to check this place out again sometime if anyone else is willing.

| | | | the parties happened in the parkade underneath the market, we used to have drunken fires there every friday and saturday night for about a year consecutively. Never had any issues until we decided to go in. which was the only time we tried.....however the inside looked like a circus it was pretty sweet.
