Hey, I noticed you've asked this question quite a bit recently, just thought I'd give you a friendly reminder that most people around here don't readily give out locations to just anybody, especially on the public boards. Anyway, it looks like you posted a couple of decent photo sets last year- keep that up and get to know us, and we might be more forthcoming.

| | | my bad, I'm just looking for places to see myself. There's alot of houses around here and I plan on posting quite a few in the database if I ever get the permission to. I just want to find places other than houses. I dont want to post them all here b/c thats kinda what the DB is for right?

| | | No, not really. Back when I was new here, I thought the DB would be way cooler than it actually is. It can be a decent resource if you're planning an interstate road trip, but for me, at least, people's forum posts are what I come to UER to see. (And to meet up with other explorers). In fact, most truly epic locations are never added to the DB so that they don't get raped by scrappers and vandals. The best way to get new locations is to go out and explore, share what you find in your regional forum, and meet other explorers. Hope this helps!

Who are you, Bill Clinton? If OMH saw you on the roof, you would not have it under control lol. But thats my 2 cents. Ill keep quiet now tho because i respect people =D
|
Once upon a time, I knew some awesome people with the awesome idea to go into a partially active facility, get on the rooftop of the facility (or a window pretty close to the roof- I was not there, so I cannot say 100% either or), scream at patients in the courtyard, and then (as if it does not get any worse) post this video on youtube. Within less than a week from this incident, the building was reboarded. It did not take them much longer to cement in all first floor windows and doors, either. Pretty cool, eh?
Nobody is talking out of their asses or trying to bully you around by saying playing on rooftops on partially active campuses is asking for trouble. It is a "for your own good and for our own good" type of thing :x

damn dude! I did not realize that. I just stumbled upon this and wanted to cite a real life example, figuring I would state that there is reasoning behind this and that we are not exaggerating. I did not watch the video until not... not the wisest of the bunch, but at least he was not screaming & throwing shit at patients/pedestrians. That was the last abandoned building currently existing at Byberry that they got sealed up, too :x [last edit 2/3/2010 7:22 PM by jukebox fuckup - edited 1 times]
