My cousin found one in Detroit last weekend, and I'm heading up there this weekend to check it out. I guess it's got incubators and stuff left over.. yeah. I'm freaking out, I'm so excited. I'll let you know where it is once I find out...
|
Ohhh in Detroit? I know there's one in Northville and one in Trenton.

Yeah, I hadn't heard of it either. I thought most of our hospitals around here were on their way to either demolition or renovation but as far as I know, this one's going strong.

Of course I did! I lived right by it. I don't know if I've ever found a location I've liked better.

| | | Last time I tried to get in, we were promptly escorted off the property. That was at least 4 years ago. I know they were going to tear down the whole place, I'm sure that's happened by now.

I was there back in the summer and some landscaping guys came into the building we were in, but they didn't mind. And one of the guys we were with knew the schedule of the guy that usually does rounds so we were able to avoid him. There's only 1 building left I think. And nothing is left inside really. All of the tubs are gone.

| | | With the right social engineering you can get into an active anatomy lab with like 30 cadavers in North Chicago. This is definitely not an abandonment, but an infiltration. PM me for info if you are interested. [last edit 3/22/2010 8:51 AM by nerdychaz - edited 1 times]

| | | okay, let me reiterate. I can get you access into an active anatomy lab at a medical college with around 30 cadavers. It is not an engineering building. You need to use your awesome ninja social engineering skills to get in. i.e. impersonating, knowing what to say, etc. This is an active area, not abandoned, therefore it is an infiltration more than anything else. Night time is the right time and all.

Yeah, I was out there several months ago. Nothing is really left of it.
|
Look harder, I went two weeks ago and found five or six buildings that seem like not many people have found. They're not in as bad a shape as the one building left that everyone goes to.
