| | | Besides getting to explore a locaton which is unaccessible, i think the biggest thrill in infiltration is to get away with. Id love to make this thread were we<d emnumerate all the precautions to take when infiltrating (besides the obvious "look like you belong there if its currently occupied") - Do not get seen while Entering, escaping, or while inside - do not trigger alarms inside - Don't leave any trace Basically, I think those are the three basic rules of not getting caught, which we could reduce to : - Don't get spotted
Now, there are many things to think of if you want this to happen, stuff like - not parking in front of the location - keeping your shoos clean - avoiding cameras - avoiding alarms - spotting and avoiding security guards Now some of them have already been described thoroughly on the other forums (finding parking spots, scouting locations, using red filters, no flash inside, etc.) I'll tell you guys what I know about cameras (most of it is common sense, but I know someone whos been monitoring cameras at government facilities, and I know some stuff.)
- Most of the time they are not being monitored - They tend to reuse videotapes and record over previous surveillance films. - Most wont be moving around as if you were in a videogame, they are fixed in place and would require some work to change their orientation. - Just like car, cameras have dead angles. They wont likely be pointed to the wall they are fixed onto, and youll most likely be invisible if you keep close to the wall. - Chances are they will be oriented to places were lots of people commute, this means places you didnt even pass by to get were you are, as you most likely found a more convenient and less visible entry. Now here's some common sense : if you are dressed to sneak by people, you'll most likely sneak past a camera (what i mean is the person who will watch the recording wont see you any better than if they were there when you passed.)
And heres some random stuff about security guards : - their job is boring, if the see trouble, they WILL respond - security guards need light to see (as us humans do) Security guards LOVE lights, because when there is light, they see stuff, and their job is boring, so if the see a lioght, they will get to it. Now nothing says they should find someone holding this light, maybe someone just forgot their flash light somewhere around the building (with maybe an empty wallet for the happy security guard to bring to the lost and found section of the building - a couple of cents of tip never hurts too, for this free entry hes given you). Now, this idea is a bit twisted, and i made it up on the spot, but i bet this would actually lure them out.
