Looking at the dam from Crousetown Road. If you look closely at the sign, <-- Hebbs Cross would be the route you'd take from HWY 103. Conquerall Bank --> would take you to the LaHave River unless you made your first left after the damn, that'll take you to Hebbville and Bridgewater.

The river runs between the cement structures (where the stop sign is) and under the bridge in bottem-right of photo.
