World Trip 2002 - London

London was a great city to explore. Very easy to get around in. I was hosted by Andrew, the owner of Urbex.org and was also greeted and shown around by Alex. Both were really nice people to meet, and were great hosts.

My first exploration was of the Cane Hill bunkers. Cane Hill hospital was visited in the middle of the night but it is now too secure to enter. A series of fires set by vandals has the place locked up like Fort Knox. In addition, the security guards patrol the grounds with nasty dogs. The bunkers are much easier to access.

Cane Hill bunker - London.

The power room which may still have live power.

Spooky meeting room. Rotting chairs seem ready for their previous user to return.

Some, ahh self promotion.

Farming equipment.

Mechanical junk including a motor mower.

More junk. A railway semaphore signal is on the left.

Old rusted shelves.

Old fuse box and telephone ringer.

Homemade dehumidifier

Victim number 1
