I had just moved to Sonoma, and without thinking, I had asked my uncle if he knew of any abandonments in the area. He looked me in the eye and told me that there was an abandoned winery across from his office.

Grabbing my roommate and following his directions, we found a place to park and wandered through the park and found a way through the fence and into the winery. What's left is nothing more than a burnt, wooden building. However, there was something really haunting about it. Every room and every place we explored was wide open, the roof now gone but some wine barrels still up.

We got majorly spooked by a fox, that gave us a good laugh. This was our first full explore with each other, and it wasn't a long one but it was great exploring the place and taking breathtaking photos. It's really worth checking out, even if it's not the most preserved abandoned building out there.
