I currently live in menom, and go to UW stout which is all of a 3 minute walk away from the station. Last year I had a storage container just across from the depot, and was always curious about the place. To my knowledge, the building it still standing, however it has not be remodeled. Currently, there is a raft company that launches tubes here into the Red Ceder River, so that people can lazily float the river in the summer months. Other then that, there really isn't a whole lot going on in this location. Cops in Menomonie Rival those of St. Paul, they just don't have any crime to keep them occupied, so UE anywhere in the town should be taken with utmost care. Police give out tickets for riding your bike on the sidewalk here, I do not even want to know what they would do for a trespassing charge. ( Probably taze you ) All in all, it is a cool building, but if you are in menomonie and want to have a little fun, the fresh water tunnels under the city are a lot more interesting. I need to get back down there and take some pictures this time. Also the steam tunnels on campus are cool, but almost impossible to get into unnoticed. As is the clock tower.
