I spent two years of my life livng literally next door to Cabezon. Then, in the early 1970's, it was wide open and deserted as can be. I learned to hunt bunnies in the sagebrush of this town, and Dad pulled us down main street on sleds behind the pickup. I have been in every building in town, even hunted Easter eggs in the churchyard. Good times.

Not anymore. A couple from California moved in, renovated the church, tore down several of the old buildings, and erected several ghastly sheet metal buildings. They also refuse permission for anyone to enter.

Hasta la vista Cabezon.
