I don't remember the exact date that I spotted this bridge. What I do remember is that it was summer and I had the day off work. I was driving around downtown Los Angeles looking for anything weird or abandoned.

When I was driving underneath 7th street bridge, I saw this weird "Bridge under a Bridge." It was daytime so I checked it out. I noticed there was a "Homeless Colony" under the bridge and I was a bit worried for my safety. So I snapped a few photos and quickly left.

I showed the photos to Snordhol who agreed that it looked like a place worthy to conquer. We ended up planning a trip the following week at night. I went to home depot and bought a ladder because I wasn't sure that the rope attached to the entrance was going to hold our bodyweight. Lucky that I did, because El Finche went to climb the rope and it broke in like 3 seconds, sending him right on his ass.

I ran to the truck and grabbed the ladder that we put right next to the entrance. We hoisted ourselves up into the entryway and didn't know what to expect. It turned out to be beautiful. It's really hard to explain, but the corridors are like a scene out of Alien 3. You have to experience it for yourself.

There is bum clothing all over the floor...I mean years and years worth of old bum clothing. The walkways are dangerous as well. They are 7 feet off the floor, so if you fall off one of those walkways, it's going to hurt a bit. We took some photos, dodged the rail police and didn't have any altercations with the homeless colony/drug area downstairs.
