Open field running

I have had my eye on this location for a while now and today I had to go get beer for the football game so I decided to go ahead and do this.

I parked my truck at a warehouse across the street and as I got out to light a cigarette a police car slowly drove by checking me out. It was really stupid of me to park here anyway since it was Saturday and there was but one other car in the lot but I was determined. The squad car soon made a u-turn and left in the opposite direction in a hurry, on a call I guess. After I almost got back in I decided to just go.

I climbed a barbed wire fence and had about 150 yards of flat field to cover without being seen by the traffic on the major street that runs adjacent to the farm. Halfway through the field I had to hit the dirt because another cop drove by. After that I double timed it and made it to the tree line.

After about another half mile or so I was at the farm. No real exciting stories here that the pictures dont show. Just a bunch of cow crap and some cool abandoned stuff.

On my egress I was cursing myself for not bringing some water or my new tripod while making my way back to the vehicle. Timed my crossing of the fence and was on the safe side now. Crossed the street while walking to the truck I glanced over my shoulder for some reason. The cop (I guess the same one) was sitting right there in the turn lane off the road. I just kept walking and when I got to the truck I looked back and he was gone.

All in all successful exploration trip.
