So I failed miserably..........

Ok, so here is what happened the last time i went here. I got there at about 8 o clock at night. i drove by a few times and checked the place out. i ended up parking about a half mile down the road in a body-shop parking lot. I got out of my truck and got my gear on. i had my cheap digital cam, my backpack with rope, flashlight, water bottle, phone, and my airsoft gun. (yes i know it was stupid). so as im walking, i looked around and crept up the driveway on the east side of the complex to gain access on the west side. there is a section of barbed wire fence that has fallen due to recent rain, and is lying on the ground. the fence itself on the ground does not make access any easier. immediately behind the fence is a collection of junk that is blocking clear access and is piled quite high. combine that with the fact that if i want to get in without being noticed, i cant use my flashlight. so i have to wait about 15 minutes in the cold night to let my eyes adjust to the darkness. (mind you that there is no light nearby and its right next to the train tracks so....)anywho, i manage to scale the wall of junk and get in quietly enough. at least thats what i thought. as soon as i set food on the ground, i hear the first dog bark. its the dog from inside the building. as quickly as i can, i jump into an old truckbed that is about 15 feet away and just lay there. i soon discover that the truckbed had ice in there from the rain that had preceded my arrival. ill tell you something, laying down on ice when you are not equipped for it, sucks. after the dog kind of quieted down, i managed to get out very slowly and start my way towards the building. the first time i came here i only saw one side of the building, and it was identical to the side that i intended to gain entry from. but,the other side has been blocked off by cars. there goes my plan A entry point. the second option is to scale the building and try gaining access from the second story. lucky for me, there is a semi-truck right next to the south side of the building. i opened the cab door and climbed onto the roof and am crawling on my belly navy seal style when i suddenly go blind. there was a motion sensor light mounted on the wall of the building that i didnt see. so here i am blind and still. (why am i blind? well ive been in the total darkness for about 45 minutes and a light suddenly hits me and they are freakin' bright) now it seems that this entry point is not gonna work either. slowly, ever so slowly i start moving back. slow enough that it takes me 15 minutes to move back 5 feet. now, i cant turn my head around to see where i am going, and i am assuming that the truck cab's roof is right behind my feet, but in reality i somehow curved as i was backing up and the cab is about 3 feet to my right side. i end up trying to get my feet up on the wall, but i made too much noise and now both dogs are barking. one i hear inside the wall just in front of me, but the other i cant see or really tell where its coming from. so what do i do? in a panic i just let go and i fell about 10 feet to the ground. as soon as i get up, i walk ever so slowly toward the front of the semi only to have the ground disapear from under my feet. i have fallen. into the coal pit that i couldn't see. down i go and end up in a dark pit about 20 feet below the opening of the dump funnel. on the way down, i hit the wall support beam with my chest and get the wind knocked out of me. i tell you know that it hurts like hell and back again. as i try to get ahold of myself and make sure i am ok to move, which by the way is very painful not to mention breathing, i shine my light around and see the conveyor belt that feeds the coal into the building. i crawl towards it and see that the door has been welded shut. i can make the outlines of the heat marks on the backside. great.......just freaking great. not only am i hurt, but i cant get up to reach the funnel's cone. and it hurts like hell to reach up anyway. not only that, but i cant even get out by going inside the building. i take inventory of all my gear and find my camera missing. while looking around i find it. broken. literally in half. great now my camera is gone. i sit in a corner of the pit and lean against a wall. i sit there for a minute before trying to call my wife. i pull out my cell phone and see my display is cracked. hey as long as i can make the call ill be happy. i dial the numbers...............then i get the dreaded sound that nearly makes me cry. ..............no signal. by this time i am thinking, great now im in deep SH*T!!!!. i would have tried yelling for help, but i know for a fact no one is around, except for the dogs. then i hear it. growling.....and its close. i try squinting at the ceiling through the cone and i see it. the other dog that i didnt know where it was. .......and its mad......really mad. my first instinct is to pull out my bb gun. and i shot it. right in the eye. bad idea. now its PISSED. it start growling and barking and as i shine my light up, i can see its trying to get in but doesnt really want to. that works for now. i feel so tired. so i tried to sleep for a while. when i woke up, i was freezing. i went out, dressed in my jeans with my thermals underneath, my sweater, and my jacket over that. i wasnt too cold until i woke up. all of the body heat that i had been generating due to my pain is gone. now is the time when i am freezing. the bottle of water that i had with me has partially frozen. the only other thing that keep me from freezing to death was the fact that i was underground and insulated by the small cramped space. i still felt so tired so i went back to sleep. i woke up again to the sound of someone walking. my wife. after her crying and pissed off woman speech, i managed to throw up the rope that i had and she managed to pull me out. the rest is history.
