How it was found

I wasn't actually looking for a police training field when I went out this morning. I headed out to the Water Department Treatment Center hoping to find some drains I was told about to play around in. I figured I'd get hasseled walking right up the drive so I decided to have some fun and find my own way to the other side of the reservoir. I dipped off the road on foot and headed into some thick brush. After I tackled my way through the brush I was met by a very nice waterfall. I snapped a few photos and started to look around for a way to get across. I walked down the river a bit and found a falled tree. Sweet! Headed across the tree and shortly found a large dirt path leading alongside the reservoir. I followed the path for 45 minutes or so snapping random photos but having no luck finding any drains. After a while more of walking I noticed that there were a bunch of sand dunes that were definatly man made. I headed over and was met with a sign reading Police Shooting Only. Cool. I walked over and noticed 1000's of spent rounds scattered about. Off in the distance I could see what looked to me like a dumpster at the time. I walked over and noticed it had a door. It wasnt a dumpster, it was some kind of military looking storage shed. I figured it would be locked but tried the handle anyway. It opened. Sweet! Inside was just a couple dozen human targets and a few 1000 more spent shells. I snapped a few photos and closed the door as I found it. I walked around a bit more finding what looked like a burnt peice of kevlar and one live semi-automatic looking shell laying on the ground. I pocketed the shell so no fuckerd would come along and find it and hurt themselves or someone else. All in all I didnt find the drains or anything close but I found this little known training field which I was pretty happy about.
