I found this place on a routine cruising tour. The south side of the street is a working manufacturing plant of some kind, but without any outdoor activity. The street is not used much and was essentially deserted.

I took some photos of the exterior, and stumbled on to a nifty entrance through what used to be a mechanical room. Apparently a large air conditioner unit had vented to the outside of this room. Squeezing through the gap into what appeared to be a simple a dark alcove actually revealed that there was space to squeeze along the inside wall and eventually into the open of the interior.

This was really one of my all time favorite places ever. I had to step over broken crack pipes in some rooms, but something about the way the light came in through the ceiling and illuminated the remains really got me.

I only made it here 2 times before it was demolished. On the first occassion, I tried to be somewhat considerate of the person sleeping on a mattress in the corner of the large, central room. He seemed pretty well set up, and even had his bicycle stored near his bed. The time I returned, no one was around, and I had a little better run of the place.
