So, my friends and I throw free raves in abbandoned buildings...

Obviously we are constantly looking for more buildings to be able to do stuff in.

Just this summer, a few of us went for a bikeride to find more buildings and stumbled into this plot. At the time it was totally wide open, no doors on the big wearhouse building and the gate was open. There were the trucks from the tire company there so, we didn't know if the place was abbandoned, but we decided to poke around a little bit anyways.

We went onto the property and skirted behind the silo nearest where the dogs are in the property next door. As we were poking around the huge metal drums, all of a sudden there's a flurry of activity. Police came by, and fire trucks. They were all looking at the other silo. Not the one we were near. So we froze and hid for a while... And it became obvious that they were doing something with the fire escape...

eventually some of the fire fighters climbed up there. And we took off. We just walked out the front gate and nobody said anything to us... I'm not sure if they even saw us.

This would have been sometime early july.

After that, the big wearhouse building has been boarded up... But there's still no real security to speak of. If anything it worked out for us because we ended up throwing a party there after all in november sometime. And the boards only helped keep the sound of pounding bass from spreading too far.

The party went off without a hitch... We were even considering squatting there... but they eventually figured out that something was up... only during the day though...

But yeah... crazy... I think you (the guy that got stuck in the elevator) must have been the reason the cops and fire dept was there... unless it's a weekly occurance there... that someone needs to be rescued from the silo...
