I believe the large grains come from the a zinc (or similar?) plating used to prevent the panels from rusting. AFAIK, most steel contains some recycled content.

its like with cars, the big three are the ones who use the most virgin steel japanese and korean companies make most of thier cars with a higher content of recycled steel, hyundai is the worst as they own thier own ships most of the steel in thier cars is old ship steel

those big grain are diferant kind of steel melt together...cuz when you recycle metal , you have lots of metal clasification mix in the same blend... when you make recycled steel .. you have all kind off steel , from high carbon content , and low content , you have soft steel , medium , high speed steel , so the mix of all those kind make what is on the picture .... the calvanized coating is add by thin layer of vaporized zinc ,and its transparent ..

its the same thing than the metal tube use to make steel fence . those kind of metal have the tendency to break , not bend ... not very strengh .. like aluminium , some clasification of alu can't be bend or it will break !!
