this is about the same size as the tunnel in the section of the CP main line I worked on near Revelstoke, BC. There is barely enough room for you to press against the wall when a train comes through. Spent many an hour in there in winter chopping &%$*&%^ ice!

You didn't have ice breaker cars? Usually old gons with a steel framework for busting up the ice and filled with concrete for weight.

nope just picks and shovels. That was in the late 70's but CPR thought it was the 1870's lol
