  nice granite stone work,,this was common in the late 1795 and early 1800s by the reesors and hoovers when they arrived in markham from the bercy ship,most of these stone houses were built from the very stone cultivated on the land in that era and being menonites shows there excellent craftmanship and construction of there houses and barns ect....
