I like to think something happy like that happened, as opposed to them getting wiped out all at once.............. although I guess it's not all that uncommon for whole families to die in wrecks, things like that........ maybe they went out for after dinner ice cream and never made it back........ I guess that's what makes abandoned homes so interesting, the question of how they came to be the way they are now..............
