  Looks like the whole family got wiped out sometime in the 80's. Somebody old probably inherited the house and just never bothered to clean it out.

  maybe even at the time they left, all their stuff was sort of crappy and they left it......... who knows, maybe they ran into some money for some reason or another; or inherited another house that was already furnished with better stuff than theirs.......... I like to think something happy like that happened, as opposed to them getting wiped out all at once.............. although I guess it's not all that uncommon for whole families to die in wrecks, things like that........ maybe they went out for after dinner ice cream and never made it back........ I guess that's what makes abandoned homes so interesting, the question of how they came to be the way they are now..............
