  I wonder if it's functional? A little TLC and I'm sure it would be fine if it was still operational.

  It may still work, but probably not worth it. You want to look out for earlier tube consoles or, for solid state, separates from Pioneer, Technics, Marantz, etc.

The turntable is most certainly nothing I'd want near my vinyl.

  my parents had one of these.. except it had a big tv tube in the middle front, and on the top it had a stereo on one side and record player on the other... i used to play my sesame street records on it :D
