"they will take good care of you my son, your tuberculosis will heal very fast(maybe one year) thanks to the fresh wind of the mountains, very pretty nurses will help you(guess not)..."
Must have been a very terrible moment to anybody back in those days to be driven up there and knowing that you will probably not come back.

this is for good obsevator only ;) ... look on the top ... there is no elevator control room (small cubic room)... maybe they add the 3 elevator during the renovation , maybe im not right ...

another thing .... look in the front of the sanatorium ... since this picture , the vegetation as change so much ... all those litle spruce and pine are now about 25-30feet hight !! and those that are very closed to the building , grow a lot too !! http://www.uer.ca/locations/viewgal.asp?picid=19718

and ... what is this "door like" black scare in the middle of the front "vegetation section" . if someone know the answer . please tell me .. cuz a get on this section .. and i found nothing ... only grass three and snow !!!
