I believe it went to the Great Escape in Lake George.
Does every park seem to have one of these giant "muffler men"? Paul Bunyan especially.

Your right, thats where the Comet is now. Seems like every park has a Paul Bunyon. This one though has been at Crystal Beach for 60 years. No idea where it is now.

The comet is a great coaster, I've been on it at The Great Escape many times. It's really cool to see where it was before!

I remember riding this coaster and thinking that we would wind up in Lake Erie after the first drop as there was a WICKED turn in the track that jutted out into the lake....sad to see it's all gone now...

I think this ride went to Darien Lake if I'm not mistaken. My dad mentioned that same thing, the wicked turn.

I rode the Comet (at the Great Escape) about 5 times a couple of weekends ago. Sort of cool seeing pictures of it being disassembled from it's original location.

I threw up all over the painted sun on the ground when I was like 10yrs old. Too many turns on the gravitron.
